We are running a school for Those children who are fully helpless.

Samajotthan Gramodhyog Samiti has vision to empower rural surroundings of J.P. Nagar (Amroha), Utter Pradesh with modern education and amenities. Samiti is currently running a school by name “B D S M School ”, having strength of 200+ students studying in classes 1st to 8th and an inter college “Bhagwan Devi Sukhlal Smarak Kanya Inter College”, having 200+ students. As time grows, efforts would be to build B.Ed. and Technical colleges for girls belonging to poor families and backward communities. To make women self-reliant, plans are to establish gramodyog training centers empowering women of surrounding areas to earn and support their families. Plans are there to establish health centers and welfare centers in area for upliftment of women. Apart from all these activities, Samiti would be conducting health camps, training camps and social awareness campaigns time to time in support of the goals to build a better society and educated/self-reliant community and thus a great Country as vision by Mahatma Gandhi. Samiti is hopeful to achieve the goals of upliftment of poor and backwards in coming years with contributions from all communities and wise people around the country via donations in the form of money, material and volunteer help.

What We Do

Some examples of our child protection program activities include creating Child Friendly Spaces in emergencies, reunifying separated and unaccompanied children with their families in emergencies, developing public awareness campaigns against child trafficking, piloting training programs for social workers to provide supportive care to families and children and advocating for more effective national protection policies and child welfare reform. We actively support child clubs and other child-led activities that educate children on how to protect themselves, and empower them to call for action in their communities.

Our Approach:

Education 7.1 million children in India do not go to school. We work to ensure that all children join school. This helps them stay out of child labour as well as in building a promising future for themselves.

Child Survival Nearly 1.73 million children die in India every year due to lack of treatment. We work with communities and the government health systems to improve child and maternal health care.

Child Protection India has the largest number of child labourers in the world. We work to expose and prevent exploitative child labour practices. We also have child labour prevention programs in areas like West Bengal & Bihar where child trafficking is rampant.
